Level 4: The Art of Nondual Coaching

Level 4 completes a full cycle of complete coach development. In Level 4, you will continue to refine your practice of Aletheia Coaching through Parts Work, Process Work, and Presence Work. You will continue to hone your practice of Aletheia Meditation, especially at the Depth of Nondual Presence. And, in Level 4, you will learn how to coach and facilitate Nondual Work during coaching conversations. It is the culmination of a nearly four-year journey through Levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 composing the Advanced Coaching Program.

Four Styles of Transformation

Aletheia Meta-psychology includes Four Styles of Transformation.

  1. Transmutation (ACP Levels 1 and 2) - the depth approach where transformation unfolds through restoring the natural cycle of surfacing and deepening … from being impeded to being deeply resourced.

  2. Transparency (ACP Level 3) - the mind approach where transformation unfolds by seeing through constructions into the underlying unconstructed nature of the Self and Reality.

  3. Transfiguration (ACP Levels 3 and 4) - the body approach where transformation unfolds through re-generating Self and World through working with and through the body.

  4. Transcendence (ACP Level 4) - the heart approach where transformation unfolds through a graceful liberation from self-contraction beyond any dichotomies (dual and Nondual, existing and non-existing, life and death, etc.).

Each style of transformation works with ego psychology in a different way thereby deepening Nondual realization in unique ways.

Together these four styles offer a comprehensive and complete approach to transformation. Through the progression of this curriculum you unpack what transformation actually is and learn how to artfully integrate all four styles in your coaching approach.

From Integral Unfoldment to Diamond Unfoldment

In ACP Levels 1 and 2 you learned to practice Integral Unfoldment. This offers a seamless integration of Parts Work, Process Work Presence Work, and Nondual Work. You practice depth by depth shifting your way of coaching to meet the client exactly where they are, at the current depth of their contact with themselves, others, and the world. This style of coaching enacts Transmutation and Transparency.

In ACP Level 3 as you shifted into Transfiguration. In this style of transformation, the practitioner is Nondual Presence itself. This shift enables you to consciously inhabit all Four Depths simultaneously and work across them simultaneously. This capacity enables you to turbo charge the practice of unfoldment. This new practice is named Diamond Unfoldment.

ACP Level 4 deepens your practice of Diamond Unfoldment through shifting into Transcendence.

WHAT IS THE STRUCTURE OF LEVEL 4?

Level 4 is composed of twelve 2-hour sessions that occur approximately every 3 weeks. Sessions include teaching, practice, demonstration, and discussion to help you integrate and apply Aletheia Coaching with your clients. You will work with practice partners between sessions and share experience reports and questions in the online workspace.

WHAT IS THE COST OF LEVEL 4?

The fee for Level 4 is $3,599 USD. This fee includes tuition for the course + two 50-minute coaching supervision sessions with course faculty to support integration and application. Additional coaching sessions with faculty are available for a fee. Contact your course faculty directly if you are interested.

WHEN DOES THE NEXT LEVEL 4 COHORT START?

Please look at the schedule page on this website to find out the application deadline for the next cohort as well as all session dates.

WHAT TIME OF DAY ARE THE SESSIONS HELD?

Each cohort is offered in two sections (10 AM-Noon and 4-6 PM Pacific) allowing participation from around the world in different time zones. A typical cohort will include people from Asia, Australia, North America, and Europe.

HOW LARGE ARE THE COHORTS?

The cohorts are typically 10-15 people. Because the sessions are held in two sections, a typical session is attended by fewer than 10 people.

WHO TEACHES THE LEVEL 4 COURSES?

The primary leader for all courses is our founder Steve March, the creator of Aletheia Coaching. Steve has been coaching since 2000. He started mentoring coaches in 2003 and started teaching coach training programs in 2006. He has held senior faculty positions since 2009. Steve launched Aletheia in 2013 as a platform for creating and offering a next generation approach to coaching and development. Often Steve is joined by a co-leader and a teaching assistant.

Steve’s 35 year (and counting) spiritual journey started with Zen meditation in the mid-90s. Currently, he practices in the Tibetan Buddhist Mahamudra and Kalachakra traditions. In the interim, he was a student of A. H. Almaas’ Diamond Approach for 14 years. He has studied with masters in the Kashmir Shaivist Daoist, and Sufi traditions and has a tremendous appreciation and respect for all wisdom traditions. In 2009 he completed a Nondual Teacher Training program with Peter Fenner and in 2017 he qualified as a Realization Process Spiritual Psychotherapy Practitioner with Judith Blackstone.

Steve is among the many contemporary Nondual teachers who hold that Nondual states of consciousness are open and available to everyone rather than being rarified states only realized by very few. He teaches that realizing True Nature is everyone’s birthright.

WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT OF LEVEL 4?

All participants in Level 4 are required to sustain a regular meditation practice throughout the duration of the course by continuing to practice Aletheia Meditation as learned in Level 3. Various practices from Level 3 will be revisited and used to support practicing and facilitating Nondual Work.

The typical time commitment is ~5-6 hours per week during the duration of the course. This time is spent participating in the online sessions, practicing meditation daily, practicing with your partner, and studying materials.

WHAT IF I NEED TO MISS A SESSION?

We ask that you do your best to attend each session. However, sometimes you may need to miss a session. All sessions are video recorded. If you can’t attend in-person, you can catch up on your own time by watching the video.

WHAT’S NEXT AFTER LEVEL 4?

In one way, graduating from Level 4 marks the completion of a journey. Yet, in another way, it is a new beginning.

Since Levels 3 and 4 are largely experiential courses, they can be repeated. Graduates of Level 3 and 4 can re-take either course for $500 USD. This fee does not include the private coaching supervision sessions. Private coaching with course faculty is available for a fee. Contact your course faculty directly if you are interested.

By re-taking Levels 3 and 4 you will continue to have access to the latest developments in coaching methodology, continue to participate in group coaching supervision, which is integral to the course, continue to avail yourself of support for your own deepest development, and participate in a unique community dedicated to mastering coaching.
